DESCRIPTION:The Gordon Research Seminars (GRS) provide a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work\, discuss new methods\, cutting edge ideas\, and pre-published data\, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be participants\, not just spectators. This year’s meeting will focus on the mechanism of biological clocks (from circadian to circannual) and the impact they have on physiology and health. Moreover\, panel discussions will be offered to allow young scientists to gain insight into the challenges and perspectives of a career in science\, including career options\, scientific publication\, and public engagement. This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Chronobiology" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information. The Chronobiology Gordon Research Seminar will be held 9-10 October 2021 at Mount Snow in West Dover\, VT USA. More Information: www.grc.org/chronobiology-grs-conference/2021/
