Dr. Jan-Dirk Fauteck is a German doctor and chronobiologist.
He is the author of “The Chronodiet,” “Melatonin: The Mother Hormone of Chronobiology,” and “Chronobiology: Living By Your Inner Clock” among others. He is also the author of an additional 37 e-books and over 60 scientific papers concerning chronobiology and its role on human health.
Fauteck has over two decades of research in the fields of chronobiology, melatonin and internal clocks and biological rhythms within the human organism.
Fauteck graduated summa cum laude from the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Milan, Italy in 1992 with a medical degree as a “doctor of medicine and surgery.” He received German recognition of the Italian board certification as a medical doctor, and in 1997 gained qualification as a specialist in human anatomy, histology and embryology at the University of Münster where he also received a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Anatomy.
Dr. Jan-Dirk Fauteck is an associate private docent at the international Jacobs University Bremen for “basics of anatomy.” He is the CEO of “A.M.C.-Lodi srl,” an Italian consulting agency for preventive and anti-aging medicine, and the head of R&D of “SymBalance GmbH & Co. KG,” a German based society involved within the research of new products against chronic pain. He is also the CEO of “FIS international GbR,” a private Germany consulting agency for “pharmaceutical/galenic scouting” and clinical development. In addition to being a founder of Interchron, he is the CEO and a founding member of the European Academy of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine (EA³M).
